What a story!! Absolutely brilliant! From the heart-stopping prologue through to the beautifully emotional finish, The Regret Duet by Aly Martinez held us captive on every single page! We were unable to move whilst devouring this clever, exquisitely written jaw-dropping story that was unlike anything we’ve read in some time. With every turn of the page, we became enthusiastically, nervously and ravenously enthralled by Aly Martinez’s superb storytelling and wonderful characters.

The twists, turns, shocks and surprises in this incredible and intense story will leave you breathless! Everything about this story was flawless in our eyes. There were times we wondered how in the hell Aly Martinez was going to deliver resolutions without it feeling forced, but she did and she did it splendidly and organically!

THE FALLEN: GENESIS (Deadly Virtues #0.5) by TILLIE COLE

5 stars!

Tillie Cole has done it again! What an incredibly multilayered storyteller this lady is. Her talent never fails to astonish us. This series promises to deliver everything and more, so dust off the bookshelves because a new dark series is about to take up residence in your hearts, minds, and souls!

The characters in The Fallen shocked us, saddened us, broke us and made us so utterly desperate to hear each of their stories. This is no easy read. When Tillie Cole warned readers this series was VERY dark, she wasn't exaggerating. There were times we had to stop and regroup before we could continue. Some aspects of this story are confronting, uncomfortable and harrowing, and will have you questioning exactly what is good and what is the evil.

WOW! Emma Scott brought all the emotion to A Five-Minute Life! We experienced everything as she perfectly conveyed the frustration, the anger, the hope, and the love of her characters, as well as sending us a message about never giving up and making not just every day, but every single minute count. A beautiful and uniquely captivating story told from the heart, with Jimmy and Thea now owning a little piece of our hearts, along with the other characters of Emma's who have taken up residence there. Prepare yourselves for a genuinely heartfelt story where Thea is a woman trying to remember and Jim is a man wanting to forget.

Another unforgettable story from an author who amazes us with her remarkable talent, and who delights and moves us with her incredible words. Grab the tissues and experience a story unlike any other. We cried tears of happiness, sadness, despair, and hope. We never gave up hope though, as our hearts were with Thea and Jimmy every minute of their story. Described as 50 First Dates meets Awakenings, a perfect description for a story in which there is a message for us all.

Marriage for One is a wonderfully slow burn love story that has so many romantic touches and actions that will melt not only your heart but your knickers off too. We were puddles on the floor and you could’ve scooped us up with a spoon. A romance full of twists, heartbreak and angst. A slow burn romance full of heat and laughter. This would make a swoon-worthy film and we’d be first in line to see it come alive.

Seriously, get ready to fall head over heels in love with a man named, Jack Hawthorne! Oh wow, we love him. LOVE HIM. He’s a tense and grumpy arse but what a romantic arse he is. But no question, this enigmatic –no smile- behaviour hides a vulnerable unsure heart that’s fallen in love and has no idea what to do with that. A heart that slowly but surely learns what love is long after it initially fell…reluctantly so. All because of the sweet, smiley and feisty, Rose.
