REINVENTING CATO (Unfinished Business #3) by BARBARA ELSBORG

‘Vigge wrapped his arms around him. Cato clung to him so hard that Vigge’s heart felt as if it were trying to get out of his chest and climb into Cato’s to give it a hug.’

Reinventing Cato by Barbara Elsborg can be read as a standalone in a series, however, we rate every single book so highly we would recommend reading to get the full experience of the characters that pop up in every book. This Author once again managed to pair dramatic suspense with sarcasm and humour and tragedy with inspirational love. The way in which Barbara Elsborg blends fiction with realism is spot on and addictive. And on a side note, her intense need and craving for facts, be they relevant or obscure, well where is she when we need her for our online pub quiz? She’d be our ‘phone a friend’! We always know what to expect from this Author, and she never lets us down. The writing is flawless, the humour timeless and the storyline compelling. Her characters never fail to worm their way into our hearts, only to stay and find a forever home.

A LONG WAY BACK (Unfinished Business #2) by BARBARA ELSBORG

5 resounding stars!!!

‘Happiness was being in each other’s arms. Happiness was a hand held, a kiss given, a smile shared, a joke told.’

Barbara Elsborg is without question our -go-to Author- when we are in the mood for an MM romance, not only is she a magnificent and unique storyteller, her passion, vivid imagery, and the way she makes us truly feel every emotion, is second to none. A Long Way Back is a testament to this and once again she wowed us! To be able to weave humour into a devastating storyline and create characters with such depth that we feel a part of them, is utterly astounding.

We can sit here for hours and wax lyrical on why and how much we love Barbara Elsborg’s writing. She makes us laugh, she makes us cry and she has us completely compelled every single time we pick up a new book by her. When we say that there really isn’t many Authors like her for making us feel so emotionally invested in mm romance, it’s because of how much we love and stand by her work.

A FAERIE STORY by BARBARA ELSBORG

5 Wonderful stars! (M/M/M)

“Is that what you’re searching for? Happiness? Peace?”
“Aren’t we all?” I want to be needed, loved. That would make me happy, give me peace.

A Faerie Story by Barbara Elsborg is like three stories in one, we say that because the three male characters; Keagan, Aiden and Pascal had such immense stories to tell that it felt so comprehensive it was not just about one man’s journey. It was three journeys which culminated into one epic story. As per usual Barbara Elsborg throws down the gauntlet on how many agonising rounds of pounding your heart can take before it shatters. There is not one single character who doesn’t bring an emotional story to the mix. Rather, each character carries internal or external scars as well as burdens from their past, with one or two more horrific than the other. We cried so many tears.

Combining a story of paranormal and mystical settings with an intense love affair between three men is quite the feat. It felt so real and tangible, it was as if we were there. And oh how we wanted to be. We wanted to gather these three lads up and bring them home.
