This book was LOVELY! Check out our Review and Exclusive Excerpt!

“I take it back.”
“Take what back?”
“What I said about your smile.” He reached out and caressed my cheek. “It’s not off-putting at all, it’s captivating.”

Oh, swoon!! It’s no wonder we ADORED Happy-Go-Lucky! Talk about a fun, sexy, totally swoon-worthy read! We adored Maisie, her friends, her family and of course Cameron Grant! We really ‘get’ this authors humour. The cute Maisie had us grinning from ear to ear.

L H Cosway really does write some fabulous heroes and heroines. They’re fun, feisty and vulnerable all at the same time, and we also love a good office romance, and boy were there some sizzling office dalliances between the grouchy, unsociable Cameron, and the happy, eager to please Maisie. We’ll never enter a stationery cupboard without getting all hot and bothered EVER again!

A GIFT IN DECEMBER by JENNY GLADWELL

“I’m not completely sorry we both had our hearts broken. Not if it meant us ending up here.”

A gift in December by Jenny Gladwell is one of the most scenically beautiful stories we’ve read in a while. This historical fictional romance, which is mainly set in the snowy mountains of Norway, had such a vivid atmosphere we felt the cold winter nights, we tasted the snowflakes on our tongues and we breathed in the crystal cold fresh air. We have a new bucket list destination!

We absolutely loved the mystery, the setting and the romance of this story. It held us captivated from the first till the last page. From a dreary and rainy November in London, to a snowy and beautiful Norway, we became engrossed in a story of love, hope, memories and intrigue – focusing on a moment of history still honoured today.

MOTI ON THE WATER by LEYLAH ATTAR

‘Alex had a dream. He had talent and drive and ambition. Every night, under the light of the moon, he cast his net toward the heavens to catch the stars.’

Moti on the Water by Leylah Attar was just hilarious, sweet and so rich with lessons in love, life and different cultures. It really read like those romantic comedies we love to watch and this book is a prime candidate to be made into a movie. Leylah Attar grabbed us from the get-go with a quirky family dynamic, an adorable heroine, a passionate hero and an engaging storyline which, whilst quite predictable, had us furiously turning the pages with a huge smile on our faces. What a wonderful summer read on the beach or by the pool! Just make sure, if like Moti you can’t swim, that you wear a swim vest as you’ll be swept away in the pages.

Leylah Attar writes with such beauty and poise. Her words flawlessly transport you into her world, where the scenery and food serve as their own rightful and stunning characters. Its peace and tranquillity forming the landscape for the utter chaos of family relationships.

THE GUY ON THE RIGHT by KATE STEWART

Loved this! Ahhh the romance!

We met at the same crossroads and that, in and of itself, makes her valuable to me as a friend more than anything else.’

We love Kate Stewart, so we were beyond excited to pick up The Guy on the Right. This is one of those times we can say that hand on heart this book is exactly what it claims to be, a true friends to lovers romance. It is without question one of our favourites in this trope. What we loved about it was that it was all about the characters, it was ‘simple’ in story yet at the same time it packed such a strong punch because in its simplicity pure magic was achieved. It never felt over-written or over-dramatic, rather, it felt easy and flawless. It felt real, specifically in its honesty of friendship and romance.

We cannot explain how much we loved Laney and Theo, both were written with such care and attention to detail, that we felt we knew them almost from the get-go. Their insecurities, their hang-ups, their hopes, and their dreams. Their needs, desires, and wants. We understood their friendships and their relationships. What we especially loved about these two characters is the shift from what is considered the ‘norm’ in romance novels. Kate Stewart gave us a male character that was portrayed in such a manner that we recognised him, not from other novels but from real life.
